Resolved Question
ASDA home deliveries, can a 16 year old sign for it at the door?
my mum will be out when it is due. It says you have to be over 18 to order but it doesn't mention delivery

I've never known a delivery man to ask for proof of age so I'd politely smile at him, sign as required and make sure you put everything in the cupboards for your mum coming home. That way you are likely to earn some extra pocket money too. The 18 age limit on ordering is becasue you need a credit card to pay.

- I think it'll be OK since you can sign for a package and not be who it is for. They will get a signature off someone just to confirm that you have received the goods.
- depends if there is alcohol in the delivery may be
- If the driver says how old are you just say 18 mate..
- as long as there is no alcohol / knives / lighter fluid or matches/ 2 or more medicine products.
my sister used to work for tesco.com she was a manager and this was they're policy
