Sending an item back for refund on Amazon?
First of all I asked this question before but all I got was spam! So I thought I'd try again.
I bought a product off of a user on Amazon. Having just received the item, I am unhappy and wish to return the item. The seller said before and after I received the item that they will issue me with a full refund once I've sent it back. Even though the seller has good feedback, including a positive comment about a full refund for one of his other customers, I'm still a bit cautious. Do Amazon have a compensatory policy for this? Should I send it back? Thanks.

Hi, I would send it back recorded delivery. I have had a look on the help page at Amazon and it appears to give you all the information you need there

- Once they recieve the item they will credit your account. Send it certified mail if you want to be sure. Ive only returned to Amazon not to individual sellers but I believe it works the same. Contact amazon for more info, maybe you are insured if something happens.
- Always be careful. I don't think that amazon takes responsibility for these things.
